MANHATTAN Credit Card "Octopus Automatic Add Value Service"
Frustrated whenever your Octopus Card suddenly runs out of money? Apply now for the Octopus Automatic Add Value Service¹ ("AAVS"), and you can use your Octopus Card/ Product ("Octopus") as freely as you like.
Whenever the remaining value of your Octopus is insufficient, your MANHATTAN Credit Card account will automatically reload HK$250 into your Octopus. It’s that easy and convenient!
Applying for AAVS is Simple and Easy

Take out any Octopus you want to register and note the serial number on the top right corner. |

Complete and return the attached application form by mail or fax to 2282 0290. |
| Step 3. |
Upon approval, you will receive a letter notifying you of the successful activation of the AAVS at the designated MTR or KCRC customer service centre or ticket office. (If your Octopus already has the AAVS function, this service will automatically be linked to your newly designated MANHATTAN Credit Card.) |

Octopus Automatic Add Value Service ("AAVS") is applicable to all MANHATTAN Credit Card Accounts. |

For holders of Octopus or Personalized Octopus, there is no application fee for all first time Applicants for the AAVS. For existing users of the AAVS, there is a non-refundable handling fee of HK$20 charged for transferring the AAVS from one bank to another, or reactivation of the AAVS following suspension. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited ("the Company") will levy such fee on behalf of Octopus Cards Limited. Neither Cash Back nor Bonus Points will be credited by the Company for any of such fees. |

An amount of HK$250 will be automatically reloaded when the stored value on your Octopus is zero or negative, or the remaining value plus the maximum negative value (HK$35) is not enough to cover the intended payment. Each Octopus can be automatically reloaded once a day. |

Application will take 2 to 3 weeks for processing. Cardmembers will be informed of their application result by mail. |
